The College of Humanities has a diverse academic field that includes seven departments: Department of Language and Literacy Education, Department of Regional and Social Development, Department of Fine Arts, Department of Music, Department of Counseling and Applied Psychology, Department of Taiwanese Languages and Literature, and Department of English. The goal of our college is to develop humanistic, social, and artistic literacy within the university and cultivate talents in advanced academic research, outstanding elementary school teacher training, and diverse fields.

Offers a range of courses to cater to different needs. Students who want to become elementary school English teachers can apply to the teacher training program. Our department also provides other courses such as linguistics, applied linguistics, literature, translation, and interpretation courses to enhance students’ career prospects.
The only department in the world that mainly cultivates Taiwanese language teachers and teaches entirely in Taiwanese language.
Cultivating contemporary talents in art industries, urban planning, design, and national beauty education. Also promoting and studying the unique features of music in central Taiwan, and showcasing excellent research achievements in national-level performance spaces through collaboration between teachers and musicians.
